What is Strewth?

The Strewth SLS is the natural evolution of the original "Step-In" snowboard bindings, combining the ease and speed of a step-in with the performance and feel of a traditional two strap binding. For those who don't know, "step-in" snowboard bindings were popular in the mid 90's. The advantage of these bindings was you could just step in and ride, without having to stop and strap in before every run. The original "step-ins" weren't very good for performance though, and used specialised stiff boots. Although they had great potential for improvement, these early models were never developed further and eventually all were discontinued.

We've maintained the standard two-strap configuration.Once the binding is locked you get the same feel and performance as regular high end bindings.

We've had a few questions regarding the rewards & it seems some wording may be confusing. So to clarify...

  • The retail price for the bindings when in stores will be $295. We are offering discounts off this $295 price for Kickstarter backers

  • Therefore, the first 25 Early Bird backers paid $205 and saved $90

  • The Early'ish Backers are paying $225. Therefore saving $70 off $295

  • At $245 you are saving $50 off the $295 price

Also, you may not want to commit to the cost of a pair of bindings at this time, but maybe you like the concept and want to help. Any donation makes a huge difference.
