Fox Sports reporter Yvonne Sampson says she “ran into” two AFL players who admitted to her they were on ice.
Sampson made the startling claim on Wednesday night to identify drug use was not only an NRL problem. .
"I ran into two AFL players in the off season and they were on ice and they said that's ok, it's off season,” Sampson said on Fox Sports.
“It’s almost like they earned the right to let their hair down and party because it wasn't during the season, they weren't in a club environment, they were out doing their own thing."
Sampson then took to social media to back her claims.
“Not one I made lightly nor is it my role to publicly identify them. I used a personal account to show drug use isn't just an NRL problem,” she said.
