The World Rugby Sevens Series has passed the half way mark this season and so far fans around the world have witnessed some of the best free-flowing rugby on offer.
After six tournaments there is a tight battle at the top of the standings, with only two points separating first and third. Defending champions Fiji lead the way on 106 points but are narrowly edging out a rapidly chasing 12 time winner New Zealand and South Africa.

Australia are placed fourth so far in the season but they'll be ruing their disappointing start to the campaign after missing out on a top four place in the opening three rounds. Though there are many positive signs coming from the Thunderbolts as their past three tournaments consisted of two runner up finishes and a third placing.
The next destination on the world tour is Hong Kong in April, and the teams are readying for the biggest tournament in the series.

With four tournaments to go, including the Singapore Sevens which is hosting the IRB tournament for the first time in 10 years, it will be an entertaining and thrilling battle to see which team finishes on top at the end of the season and whether Australia will be able to finish on the podium for the third time only since the series' inception in 1999.

Tickets to the HSBC World Rugby Singapore Sevens range from SGD 50 to SGD 150. Further information and online ticket sales are available at www.singapore7s.sg
