The Waratahs’ slimming playing stocks have continued to diminish with prop Jeremy Tilse and back Matt Carraro confirming they will leave the Super Rugby franchise.
They have joined Wallabies stars Kurtley Beale, Wycliff Palu and Dave Dennis who are leaving to link with overseas teams.
Benn Robinson has also retired.
The departures mean NSW may be set for a rebuilding phase and a relentless recruitment drive as they seek to form a competitive unit for next season.
The Waratahs’ 2016 Super Rugby campaign ended in Friday’s 34-28 loss to the Brumbies.
