All the action from the 2015 Battle @ Baw Baw, taken out by Geremy Guido
Australia’s best snowboarders travelled from far and wide into the depths of the Victoria’s Gippsland Valley until they reached the most epic mountain resort Mt Baw Baw.
Every year the resort holds its signature rail jam event ‘The Battle of Baw Baw’ and this year was by far the BIGGEST and BEST!
With $5500 in cash up for grabs the country’s best rail riders and some international jibbers were going head to head for a podium finish!
The flow of riding was insane in a JAM style format with a staircase street rail as the main feature and massive tranny gap to down box on the riders right and flat down on the left.
The PPP team including ambassadors Pete Long, Tommi Ollikainen and Scotty Wight helped design a rider approved set up along with the legends at Mt Baw Baw Park Crew to deliver a stunt show that was second to none! The event also had Aussie heavy hitter Robbie Walker enter once he saw the rad set up!
PPP boss man Nick Fergus was a major influence in pulling the whole event together and it did not disappoint. The huge Baw Baw crowds were treated to some of the best jibbing and rider’s vibes seen at any event held in Australia.
We are now sure the Battle of Baw Baw will be a major draw card for future Aussie RAIL JAMS.
Massive props to all the stunt men who participated in the event and huge congratulations to the place getters!
