Darius Boyd has given an update on his troublesome hamstring.
The fullback went down in the dying seconds of Broncos’ first half against the Cowboys last week.
The 30-year-old will miss Friday night’s qualifying clash against the Roosters with the winner earning a week off.
Should Brisbane lose, Boyd his hopeful of returning next week but says there are no guarantees.
"It is feeling pretty good. I had a run yesterday and will do another tomorrow," he said.
"At this stage I am doing pretty well but won't know until I start running properly next week.
"It's disappointing. I would love to play, obviously.
"They (hamstrings) can feel good but still need another week.
"Ideally I would like to be back next week but if we win we have a week off so I won't have to worry about it."
