Blair is contracted to Brisbane for 2018 but it is understood the Broncos would not stand in his way should he get a better offer.

Blair has been a consistent performer for Brisbane and has captained the club on several occasions during the  Origin period in the absence of Wayne Bennett’s stars.

However, with salary cap pressure mounting on all clubs, it is understood the Broncos are keen to offload the 39-Test veteran.

And Graham says any club fortunate enough to jag the 30-year-old’s services would be better for his acquisition.

“I think since he’s gone up to Brisbane his game’s gone back to the Adam Blair we know from his days at Melbourne,” Graham said.

“We know certainly every time we play against him he’s a very tough opponent.

“That Kiwi jersey he wears with pride and it’s his defence is great and anyone who is in need of a middle forward, he’s someone you’d certainly want to go after.”

Meanwhile, reports are circling prized Broncos recruit Jack Bird may remain at Cronulla.
