A Brisbane Broncos player has been accused of assaulting a woman over the weekend.
The NRL Integrity unit is monitoring the allegations against the player, who hasn't been named for legal reasons.
"The club has been made aware of a private matter involving a player that currently sits within a court proceeding," a Broncos statement said.

"The NRL integrity unit was immediately made aware of the matter by the Broncos, and no further comment can be made until the matter is resolved."
The Seven Network has reported the Broncos’ player allegedly had “slapped and manhandled” a woman known to him on Sunday night and will face court.
