Crows midfielder Brad Crouch has signed a four-year contract extension keeping him at the club until the end of 2020.
He follows teammates Josh Jenkins, Rory Atkins, Mitch McGovern, Brodie Smith and Daniel Talia in re-signing this year.
The 2013 Rising Star runner-up has established himself as a key member of Adelaide’s midfield and has been in great form averaging 27 disposals a game, including a season-high 34 against Brisbane on Saturday night.
Crouch said he was thrilled to re-sign with the Club and secure his future in Adelaide.
“I’m stoked to continue my career as a Crow and it’s a credit to my manager Alex McDonald and the Club for getting the deal done,” he said.
“It’s a great environment to be around with all the playing group, coaches and staff buying into the team-first culture.
“There’s plenty of hard work ahead but I think team success isn’t too far away.”
Crouch has played 36 games since being picked up by the Crows as a 17-year-old in the 2011 mini-draft.
Senior Coach Don Pyke believes Crouch will be an integral part of the team for years to come.
“Brad’s attack on the footy is something that we really value with his ability to win the ball inside and outside the contest,” he said.
“He’s an important part of our midfield group and a player that will continue to improve with the work he does on and off the field and with further games experience.
“Since returning to the team his form has been really impressive and we are excited for what the future holds for Brad.”
