Jarryd Hayne is expecting his first child at the end of the year, according to New Idea magazine.
The magazine reports the mother is Amellia Bonnici, 25, a friend of Hayne's.
Hayne is yet to comment on the news but the magazine reported he will do all he can for the baby and mother.
"He told Amellia he wanted her to have the baby and would be there for her no matter what they decided to do about their relationship," an anonymous source told New Idea.
Hayne signed with the Gold Coast Titans for two years after spending a season in the NFL.
