Jarryd Hayne wants to quit the Gold Coast Titans and seek other opportunities.
The Daily Telegraph reports his agent Wayne Beavis has notified the Gold Coast their star fullback wants out.
The 29-year-old joined the club mid-way through the 2016 season on about $1.2 million a year and is contracted for 2018.
His rift with former coach Neil Henry contributed to the mentor’s sacking before the appointment of new coach Garth Brennan.
Newscorp reports the Titans have told Beavis the superstar is expected for pre-season duties in January following his World Cup stint with Fiji.
Hayne wants to return to Sydney to continue his career with the move said to be for personal reasons.
More to come.
