Ese'ese signs on with the Knights for the next three years, with his contract beginning in 2018.

It will be the 22-year-old's third NRL club, having made his debut for the Canterbury Bulldogs in 2015 before joining the Brisbane Broncos in 2016.

However, after Broncos coach Wayne Bennett pulled an offer off the table for him to continue his career in Brisbane, Ese'ese was forced to look elsewhere beyond this season.

“It is exciting to be able to announce Herman’s signing and we look forward to welcoming him to the club next season,” Knights CEO Matt Gidley said.

“Herman is a young, explosive forward with a lot of great football ahead of him.

“He not only fits into our long-term plans but importantly, he is coming to the club because he wants to be part of our future success.”
