Knights star Jake Mamo has been released from the final year of his contract after signing a two-year deal with the Huddersfield Giants in the Super League
The 22-year-old made his NRL debut in 2014 and went on to play 29 games.
The winger/fullback was one of the few success stories for the Knights in 2016 as the club collected the wooden spoon.

The club’s outside backs stocks are looking very slim with former representative winger Akuila Uate joining Manly.
“Jake should be proud of what he has achieved at the Club and we thank him for his contribution,” coach Nathan Brown said.
