Here’s the fastest qualifier for the Women’s 1500m Final at the IAAF Worlds. An Aussie!
Zoe Buckman is the first Australian woman to ever qualify for a 1500m Final at a World Championships, which she did at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow. The 24-year-old Canberran won her semi-final in a personal best of 4:04.82. She pipped Kenya's Faith Kipyegon (4:04.83). Zoe will contest her Final at 3.20am August 16 Sydney time. Go Zoe!
