Former Queensland Origin star Dave Taylor has copped a $1000 fine after admitting to cocaine possession at a Gold Coast court on Wednesday.
The fine follows the NRL drugs saga which saw Taylor plead guilty to two charges of possessing a dangerous drug in August and September 2014.
Fellow former Gold Coast players Joe Vickery and Jamie Dowling were handed fines and community service orders earlier this year for their part in the controversy.
The 28-year-old is currently training with the Canberra Raiders in the hope of earning a contract for 2017.
