On this week’s Dead In Goal NRL podcast, our dynamic duo of James Smith and Jeff Centenera discuss rugby league expansion theories. Inspired by a chat veteran league scribe Buzz Rothfield had with incoming Australian Rugby League Commission chairman Peter Beattie recently - in which the former Queensland Premier suggested the importance of the game to grow and expand - Inside Sport invited our listeners to enter in on the debate.

We asked: where should rugby league expand to next and why? As always, when we throw open the discussion to our listeners, we received a healthy range of responses. Most suggested returning to Perth, a few reminded us of the Central Coast’s place in the game, while there were also strong calls for a second Brisbane team and also a second team in the Shaky Isles.

Also covered off on this week’s podcast is the return of Super League in Britain, as well as the launch of Inside Sport’s brand new women’s sports news website The Women's Game
