Former NRL star Chris Sandow has challenged Todd Carney to a fight as he continues preparations for his debut bout.
Sandow’s fight is scheduled for December 9 but HE is still searching for an opponent a massive fight night at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion.
the charity fight card is already stacked with NRL talent with Paul Gallen and Junior Paulo to also feature in the event.
Sandow issued the challenge to NRL exile Carney, who is in Sydney battling former club Cronulla after his controversial “bubbler” sacking in 2014.
“I spoke to (promoters) Matty and George (Rose) before and there’s no one that wants to fight me," Sandow said.
“I’ve seen Todd Carney’s back in town.
”It’s a good opportunity to get Todd in the ring with me.
“... he’s here and in the same town as me, so why not get it on?”
