Newcastle players Sione Mata'utia, Daniel Saifiti and Jake Mamo have been charged by the NRL match review committee, following their round 19 clash with the Storm.
Mata'utia is expected to miss suspension with an early guilty plea for his grade one careless high tackle.
Saifiti (grade one shoulder charge) and Mamo (grade two dangerous contact – head/neck) look set to miss a week with an early guilty plea.
Should the pair be unsuccessful in challenging their charges at the judiciary, then they would both sit out two weeks.
Panthers prop Leilani Latu (tripping) was the only player charged which came during his side’s win over the Eels.
The prop can avoid suspension for the incident involving Clint Gutherson with an early guilty plea.
