Fernando Alonso has won the Le Mans 24 Hour on debut in the sports car classic with Toyota. The dual world drivers’ champion shared the honours with co-drivers Kazuki Nakajima and Sebastien Buemi, and led home a Toyota one-two. In the GTE-Am class, Australian Matt Campbell was victorious with co-drivers Julien Andlauer and Christian Ried in a Porsche fielded by the Dempsey-Proton team owned by actor Patrick Dempsey.
