Pic special: Canada F1Lewis Hamilton was a controversial winner of the Canadian Grand Prix, the Mercedes driver finishing second on the road behind Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel but inheriting the win after Vettel was given a post-race five-second penalty. Vettel received the penalty for what Stewards deemed as an unsafe re-entry to the track after the Ferrari slid off the circuit. The error occurred while Hamilton was chasing the Ferrari, the two cars almost colliding as Vettel rejoined the race. 11 Jun 2019

Jason Bright topped the 17-car field in the opening race in his Volkswagen but Hyundai driver Will Brown was triumphant in both Sunday races. Pic Special: Supercars Perth SupernightThe dominance of Scott McLaughlin and the DJR Team Penske Ford Mustang team continued at the Barbagallo Raceway round of the 2019 Supercars Championship, the first at the Perth circuit to be held under lights. A poor start from McLaughlin allowed team-mate Fabian Coulthard to win the Friday night race, but McLaughlin was back on top the following night to claim his eighth win in 12 races. 7 May 2019

Mercedes takes 12 Hour poleItalian driver Raffaele Marciello secured pole position for the 2019 Bathurst 12 Hour in the Mercedes GT3 AMG he’ll share with German drivers Maximillian Buhk and Maximillian Goetz. Marciello only set the second fastest lap time in the top 10 shootout to decide the first 10 starting spots, but provisionally fastest, Aston Martin driver Jake Dennis, was given a two-place grid penalty for exceeding the pitlane speed limit.
