The 2025 Chinese Grand Prix saw Oscar Piastri bounce back from a disappointing home race to claim victory at the Shanghai International Circuit. The Aussie leading home teammate Lando Norris for McLaren’s 50th 1-2 finish. George Russell secured third for Mercedes with a solid drive. Last years winner Max Verstappen could only manage a fourth-place finish, with the RB21 proving to be more of a handful than its predecessor. The race was marked by multiple post-race disqualifications. Ferrari drivers Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, who had initially finished fifth and sixth respectively, as well as Alpine's Pierre Gasly were all disqualified for technical infringements. A disappointing end to Ferrari’s weekend after Lewis Hamilton earlier claimed victory in Saturday’s 19 lap Sprint race.
