Jim Cassidy watched this year’s Melbourne Cup from the American Express marquee at famous Flemington, opposite the winning post on the inside of the track. If this seems a tad cruel to a recently retired champion jockey on the day of the biggest race of the year, the man himself doesn’t feel it.
