For the tenth year running, NITV is the official media partner and sole television broadcaster of this pivotal sporting event.
NITV will bring full-day, live match coverage of the tournament’s semi-final and grand final on Sunday, October 1 and Monday, October 2.
NITV will be at the heart of the 47th NSW Rugby League Koori Knockout when Sydney’s Leichhardt Oval hosts a force of regional and metropolitan NSW teams who will battle it out for rugby league glory.
Known as one of the largest gatherings of Indigenous peoples in the world, the Koori Knockout is rugby league at its best, with more than 100 teams participating across men’s, women’s and junior tournaments.
Commentating from Leichhardt Oval across the back half of the upcoming long weekend (live from 9am on NITV - Ch 34 and Foxtel 144 on Sunday and Monday) will be presenters Brad Cooke, Djuro Sen and Daniel Conifer, who will bring viewers exclusive interviews and news, while analysts will include Owen Craigie, Ronald Griffiths and Jodan Perry. Jodan will be joined on the sidelines by Tanisha Stanton for post-match player reactions.

“The Koori Knockout showcases some of Australia’s best rugby league talent and NITV is proud to bring viewers all the action and community stories from the event in 2017,” says Head of Sport and Internal Productions at NITV, Mark Ella.
“The four-day carnival is a real modern-day corroboree that not only focusses on rugby league, but celebrates family, community and local Aboriginal culture.”
Viewers can keep up to date with all the Koori Knockout news via live updates on the NITV Facebook page from Friday 29 September, including online scoring, interviews with key players, competitions and exclusive online highlights packages.
Join the conversation on Facebook and Twitter using #KooriKnockout and catch up with all the action via SBS On Demand after the broadcast.
