Freo stay undefeated and Adam Goodes inspired his men to a big win.

The opening bounce of round 9 saw an inspired Adam Goodes lead the Swans to a big win over the hapless Blues. The footy world was eager to see how Carlton would react to the sacking of Mick Malthouse but it was the same old story, as they remain stranded at the bottom of the table.

Hawthorn got back to winning ways against the disappointing Suns in Tasmania. Port Adelaide easily brushed aside the Demons winning by 61 points.

The Bulldogs made the Giants feel small with their big win over the Western Sydney boys.

The Tigers managed to get past the Bombers and ruining Dustin Fletcher’s milestone 400^th game.

The Dockers remain undefeated this season as they beat the Crows away to remain eight points clear. The Saints prayers were answered as St. Kilda beat the Lions at the Gabba.

The Magpies moved into the top 4 after beating the Kanagroos, and the Eagles keep the pressure on their neighbours as they thumped the Cats.
