An Australian cricketer has been charged with two counts of rape in England.
Alex Hepburn will face Court on December 7 after the Perth cricketer was charged last month following an investigation in April.
Hepburn's father, Alex Hepburn Senior, told the West Australian his son would defend the allegations.
He said the 21-year-old believes the incident was consensual.

Worcestershire County Cricket Club released a statement confirming Hepburn had been suspended.
"Worcestershire CCC can confirm that Alex Hepburn was charged on the 9th November with two counts of rape following an investigation by West Mercia Police into an incident which occurred on Saturday 1st April 2017,” the statement said.
"As the matter is now subject to criminal proceedings the club is unable to provide any further comment at this stage."
Hepburn debuted for the club in 2015.
