The long and drawn out pay dispute that has dogged Australian cricket is finally over.
A deal has finally been reached between Cricket Australia and the Australian Cricketers’ Association after face-to-face meetings in Melbourne on Thursday.
The two had come to agreement on key issues earlier in the week, but were still in the process of ironing out several details.
The details of the new deal will be revealed at a press conference in Melbourne on Thursday afternoon.
It also means this month's scheduled Test against Bangladesh is set to go ahead, with the nation's professional players able to be re-contracted.
Australia's men's Test team will fly to Dhaka on August 18 to begin their two-Test tour of Bangladesh, following a week training camp in Darwin.
