Benji Marshall could be headed to the Super League after Catalans launched a bid for the veteran playmaker.
The 31-year-old has stated several times he wishes to remain in the NRL, but with no real interest, the 2005 premiership-winner may have to head overseas.
Marshall knocked back a $350,000 contract extension with the Dragons earlier this year believing his market value was worth much more.
But with Catalans set to lose half Todd Carney, who is tipped for an NRL return, the French-based side are searching for a replacement.
Marshall was below his best this year, but is believed to be of a standard worthy of worrying Super League outfits.
