Matt Moylan and James Maloney are set to swap clubs in a stunning deal worth $6 million.
NRL.com reports the Panthers have lodged the paperwork that would see Maloney at the foot of the mountains next year on a three-year deal with $2.4 million.
Moylan is expected to sign a four-year deal with the Sharks worth $3.6 million.
The news comes after Maloney walked out of Kangaroos camp on Thursday night with the two-time premiership-winner expected to pull out of tonight’s match between Australia and France.

Maloney was named at halfback for the clash in Canberra.
Moylan had been on the outer at Penrith and did not feature in the club’s finals campaign after relinquishing the captaincy and taking time away for personal reasons.
The 26-year-old had a falling out with coach Anthony Griffin six months ago with the relationship failing to repair itself.
The Panthers had sought a transfer fee of $250,000 a season to approve Moylan’s departure which has now been waived on the back of Maloney’s quality.
More to come.
