Brisbane will be without bench forward Tevita Pangai Junior for up to a month due to a knee injury.
Winger Jordan Kahu (groin) and prop Korbin Sims (foot) are under injury clouds but are expected to line up against the Rabbitohs at ANZ Stadium.
Pangai Jnr suffered a knee injury and broke his finger in last round's tight win over Gold Coast.
"Tevita is still learning about what impact he can make off the bench," Brisbane hooker Andrew McCullough told AAP.
"But he's running really hard and he's got a good offload. He's going to be a big miss for us."
Sims and Kahu trained very little on Monday but are expected to be fit for Friday.
"I hurt my foot against the Roosters (two weeks ago) and aggravated it against the Titans, so I had just had today off my feet," Sims said.
"It's just precautionary. I should be fine."
