The man who brought a cheeseboard into the MCG is hoping he has inspired people to think big when it comes to eating at the footy.
Demons fan Ned Trumble went viral on the weekend after being photographed feasting on cheese and smashed avocado at the AFL on Sunday.
While he said he is usually happy with a meat pie, he was told to "take it to another level" by a friend ahead of the game.
“It was a bit of a smorgasbord,” Trumble told Triple M. “There were some semi-sun-dried tomatoes, some green olives… avocado, some nice baguettes.

“We did actually have smoked trout in the bag but we didn’t pull it out. We thought it might be a bit smelly for the other spectators.”
Trumble said he hopes it inspires people to go all out with their grub at the footy.
“I hope (I have inspired more people to do it)," he said.
“Let’s hope it is opening up a debate about what we eat at the footy.”
