The young Melbourne Storm star featured in the pages of Inside Sport’s July 2019 edition, but now he’s available in soundbite interview form, too via the magazine’s rugby league podcast, Dead In Goal.
The 24-year-old Queensland leader-in-waiting was gracious enough to share his rugby league story so far, from growing up in Rockhampton, to knocking about in the same junior rep teams as future Brisbane Broncos star Corey Oates, to finding his groove in first grade with the Storm under the tutelage of players like the legendary Billy Slater and mentors like Storm coach Craig Bellamy.

Also on the show this week is Golf Australia magazine writer Jimmy Emanuel, who sits and talks footy with Inside Sport editor James Smith, particularly about the aging players in the modern game who are still more than holding their own against the current crop of superstar whiz-kids.
Jimmy is a massive North Sydney Bears fan, too … so you know there’s plenty of that along the way this week. Enjoy!
