Jason Demetriou is set to join South Sydney as an assistant coach supporting Wayne Bennett.
Demetriou was Bennett's assistant at Brisbane, but was axed by the Broncos after Bennett left to take over at Souths.
According to NRL.com, the former Northern Pride head coach will be announced as a Rabbitohs assisant coach next week.
After a playing career in England, Sydney-born Demetriou has coached Pride in the Queensland Cup and served as an assisstant at the Cowboys, Dragons and Broncos.
