Fremantle’s Ed Langdon has signed a contract extension until the end of 2017.
The 20-year-old has played 15 games for Fremantle, including 13 in season 2016 where he kicked eight goals.
General manager of list management Brad Lloyd said the club was delighted Langdon had extended his contract.
“Ed has fitted well into the club since being drafted in 2014 and has shown some promising signs with his football attributes and strong running capacity,” Lloyd said.
“We look forward to seeing Ed continue to develop his football with the club.”
Langdon said he was excited by the club’s future prospects.
“The direction of the club is really positive,” Langdon said.
“There is a lot of good, young talent coming through and, combined with a fair bit of experience, it will stand the club in good stead for the next few years.
“I’m really excited about what next year and beyond holds for the club.”
Langdon was drafted with pick 54 in the 2014 national draft and debuted in round 22, 2015, against Melbourne, collecting 18 possessions.
