Robbie’s Farah’s arrival at South Sydney is gaining momentum after it was revealed Rabbitohs hooker Cameron McInnes is seeking a release from Redfern.
Both players have not featured in the NRL for several weeks with both expected to see out the seasons in reserve grade.
The No.9’s are contracted to their respective clubs for 2017 but have been told they will unlikely feature in the top flight if they remain.
Farah was controversially dumped by Tigers coach Jason Taylor last month and has not been seen in the NRL since.
The one club player and NSW rake will likely end his tenure at the club on 247 games.
