The livery of the Plus Fitness Racing Nissan was unveiled as the teams assembled in Adelaide for the season opening Adelaide 500 event.

New Zealander Heimgartner last competed in the championship as a full time driver in 2016. Last year he raced a Porsche in the Carrera Cup.

“It’s very exciting to have Plus Fitness back onboard for 2018,” Heimgartner said. “I’ve been involved with them over the last three years in various ways, so it’s great to be able to make my return into Supercars with their support. I love my fitness so it fits right in.”

The 22 year-old will race the number 7 Nissan in the four-car Nissan Motorsport squad, effectively replacing the just-retired Todd Kelly.
