The Sharks chairman was charged by police on Friday after he was allegedly caught with cocaine at a Sydney hotel.

"These individual decisions are not what we stand for as a club," Flanagan said.

"These things that happen externally are not what this club is about.

"Yeah we have taken a punch, but we need to get on with it."

Keogh has since stood down.
