Greater Western Sydney has been dealt a blow ahead of its clash against Richmond with Devon Smith withdrawing with a knee injury.
Smith, who has kicked nine goals from eight matches, has been replaced in the selected side by former Docker Matt De Boer, who will make his first appearance for the club.
Smith may have to undergo surgery and will miss up to eight weeks.
The Giants are battling one of the lengthiest injury lists in the League with key players Stephen Coniglio, Ryan Griffen, Adam Kennedy, Nick Haynes, Brett Deledio and Jacob Hopper all unavailable.
