Queensland centre Greg Inglis has pled guilty to his shoulder charge on Blues counterpart Josh Dugan.
Inglis will spend three weeks on the sidelines for the incident which occurred during the second half of Game III on Wednesday night.
Dugan left the field for assessment immediately and did not return.
Scans on Thursday morning revealed the Dragons star had suffered a broken jaw.
Dugan will require surgery on Friday and faces an extended stint on the sidelines.
Inglis’ impending absence comes as South Sydney attempt to resurrect their season after losing nine of their past 11 games.
They sit 12th on the ladder and will likely have to win their remaining eight matches to qualify for the finals.
