Kangaroos coach Mal Meninga has postponed the announcement of the Four Nations squad until Tuesday.
The team was set to be announced Monday afternoon following Cronulla’s NRL Grand Final win on Sunday.
The major selection talking point is whether Sharks enforcer Andrew Fifita will be named in the team after a controversial year.
It is believed the ARL Commission have to approve Fifita’s selection which could be the reason for delaying the announcement.
The prop caused controversy earlier this year for his public support of one punch killer Kieran Loveridge after donning the words “FKL” which was thought to have meant “Free Kieran Loveridge” or “For Kieran Loveridge".
Fifita scored the winning try in the Sharks' 14-12 win over Melbourne and was easily the best on ground.
