Highly-rated Dragons rookie Matt Dufty is set to miss the start of the season after sustaining a serious knee injury at the Auckland Nines.
Scans have revealed he has sustained a medial meniscus tear and will miss up to six weeks.

The season proper starts in less than a month.
The Dragons who were considering shifting Test star Josh Dugan to centre and giving Dufty a shot at fullback.
