Manly premiership-winning halfback Matt Orford remains in intensive care as he continues his recovery from brain surgery.
The 38-year-old went under the knife on Sunday at Sydney’s Royal North Shore Hospital to remove a clot after suffering a seizure.
The former Dally M Medallist had hip surgery last week, but remained in North Sydney’s Mater Hospital following complications from the operation.
Manly provided an update on Orford on social media.
“Matt Orford remains in a stable condition in intensive care. The family appreciate all the well wishes,” the tweet read.
Orford captained the club to a record 40-0 grand final win over Melbourne in 2008.
