Rick McCosker will head a review into Australian cricket culture alongside four other appointees.
McCosker is a former Australian cricketer who played 25 tests between 1978 and 1982.
Cricket Australia announced McCosker will head the review, which was set up in the wake of the Australian ball tampering scandal.
McCosker will be able to appoint four other reviewers, which will include two other former cricketers and two current.
The review will aim to identify problems within Australian cricket culture, which has been accused of a 'win-at-all-costs' and overly aggressive mentality since the ball tampering scandal emerged against South Africa.
