Pole Position is a brand-new Australian Grand Prix and F1 season preview magazine from nextmedia’s renowned Chevron Publishing division.

Pole Position taps into Oscar Piastri fever ahead of his quest to win his home event on March 8. The Melbournian shares his thoughts on the season ahead and the ups and downs of his stunning 2025 season when he won seven grands prix – a record for an Australian.

The new magazine also examines the entry of four new automotive manufacturers to the sport in 2026 and highlights Lewis Hamilton’s landmark 20 season as the seven-time world champion’s ‘last stand’.

“Whether you’re a long-time F1 fanatic or a more recent recruit to the papaya army or Ferrari’s tifosi this 100-plus page limited edition souvenir preview is a must,” editor Luke West said. “F1 is the ‘it’ sport right now and Pole Position showcases it like no other.”

Formula 1’s fanbase continues to grow, turbocharged by the popularity of Netflix’s Drive to Survive series. Pole Position will explore this phenomenon with the other high profile Australian in F1, photographer and content creator Kym Illman. The magazine also examines F1’s new for 2026 cars, teams and regulations.

The brand-new printed publication also celebrates the arrival 40 years ago of world championship F1 to Australia.

Pole Position can now be ordered online ahead of going of an on-sale date nationally of February 23, 2026 here.
