The ICC has charged South African captain Faf du Plessis with ball tampering after the Protreas’ win in Hobart.
The ICC charged du Plessis for breaching its code of conduct for “changing the condition of the ball”.
He has pleaded not guilty sending the charge to a hearing at a date not yet set.
Vision saw Du Plessis applying spit to the match ball with a lolly in his mouth.
The Proteas won the Test and the series.
