The battle is on between Melbourne Storm and the Brisbane Broncos to sign coach Craig Bellamy.
Bellamy, who has coached the Storm since 2003, is off-contract at the end of 2018.
Brisbane are keen to hire the 58-year-old to replace Wayne Bennett for the 2020 season.
But according to NRL.com, Melbourne have offered Bellamy a three-year extenstion to stay at AAMI Park.
Bellamy has coached the Storm to seven NRL grand finals in 15 years.
He cut his teeth as an assistant to Bennett at the Broncos from 1998 to 2003.
