Canberra have confirmed winger Jordan Rapana fractured his cheekbone in the Four Nations final against Australia while representing New Zealand.
Rapana was one of the Green Machine’s best in their march to the 2016 preliminary final.
The club said he was expected to be ready for pre-season training in January.

"The injury will not require surgery, and Rapana will continue to be assessed and remain in contact with the Raiders and NZ medical staff as to when he can fly home to Australia," a Raiders statement said.
"Rapana is expected to be right to start pre-season training in early January along with the rest of the Raiders international representatives."
