He was handed a 12-game suspension by the NRL and is now fighting for his rugby league future after being let go by the Bondi club.

The former Australian schoolboys representative has had his $400,000-a-year contract torn up and must serve a 12-match suspension before he is allowed to play in the NRL again.

He didn't play in the Roosters’ top team in 2017 and was being shopped around to other clubs but failed to gain interest making any chance of an NRL return even harder now considering he would be sidelined for three months even if he was picked up.

The Roosters now have a reasonable sum to source another player before next season.

The 21-year-old is the younger brother of Broncos and Kiwis star Kodi.
