Roosters star Shaun Kenny-Dowall has been arrested for cocaine possession at Sydney’s Ivy nightclub.
Police confirmed they were called to search the 29-year-old about 1am this morning.
“During that search they allegedly located a small resealable bag containing 0.46 grams of cocaine,” a police spokeswoman said.
Kenny-Dowall is due to appear in Downing Centre Local Court on June 21.
He previously faced domestic violence allegations during his 2015 season, but was fully acquitted.
“The Sydney Roosters have been advised of an incident that occurred overnight involving Shaun Kenny-Dowall,” the Roosters said in a statement.
“The club has commenced an investigation of the matter and has informed the NRL Integrity Unit.”
