The pair reportedly impressed scouts from 14 NFL teams at a work-out at Los Angeles on Saturday.

Taumalolo is considered one of the most damaging forwards in the game while 21-year-old Holmes earned a national call-up for the Kangaroos after his instrumental role in helping Cronulla to its maiden premiership.

"They are big, strong athletes," a Philidelphia Eagles scout said on Saturday.

"Their discipline today was outstanding."
