Cronulla have signed Clive Churchill Medallist Luke Lewis to a one-year extension.
The 33-year-old joined the Sharks in 2013 and was an integral part of the club’s march to this season’s maiden premiership.
Several clubs including Melbourne, Newcastle and the Sydney Roosters were keen on the back-rower.

Lewis, who also won a premiership with the Panthers in 2003, will likely finish his career in Sharks colours.
